Neck Stiff…

… can’t drum, can’t run, can’t lift. I can only drive as long as circumstances permit me to turn my head no more than 2 degees in either direction. Given the ridiculously tight intersections of which 90% of Portland is comprised, driving these past days has been a gamble. An almost total invalid I presently am — and being the doer of many things from which I draw my self-worth — I’m feeling a tad invalid.

Boring stuff really. Not much to tell. One time a tree was struck by lightning not ten feet from me. It like, exploded, and the blast knocked me over! I was okay though. Another time I got my pinky caught in a pipe vice on a drilling rig. The vice nearly severed it--that was kind of exciting I guess. Oh yes, and one time I was sued for 3 million dollars. Top that..!

I heard that he’s still alive someplace and that he faked his death. Maybe I dreamed it.

Ok, I won’t call you a puss, but you better get me some vicodin in return for being nice. How’d you fuck up yer neck?

I attribute my neck stiffness to be muscle tension in my trapezius caused by either or both of the following activities:

1) On Wednesday night, for the first time in 12 months, I forced myself to benchpress the weight that I used to do in my pre-steady-girlfriend exercise regimen.

2) Sleeping on my side w/out a pillow later that same night.

I would be a puss if I cried to a doc for some Vikes. FUK-DAT. An office visit costs $125 on top of insurance for five minutes their masterful Godlinessnessness. Greedy Drugmongers, that’s all Dox are! “Come to my office so I can deign to profer my opinion on something you have already diagnosed and can probably treat yourself” FUCK those FUCKING Fuck faces ten times over.

you need a massage! my friend has a similar problem….and massage has helped clear it right up…for the moment at least (she just might have an extra rib or two).

I got a massage on Saturday and it was heavenly! (Can thugz say ‘heavenly’? …probably not). My neck was relieved for about 4.5 hours. Shortly thereafter however, it returned to its painful, imobilized state. The massusse (I know thugz can’t say ‘massusse’; this one sure as hell can’t spell it) told me I had the most tension in my neck of anyone with whom he has ever worked and that he did not have enough time to knead all of the tension out. This thug is definately going back though. I can’t remember my back ever feeling so relaxed.

nice…I’m glad it worked, albeit for a short period of time. My friend’s feeling better now usually lasts at least a week.
Then again, there’s always Flexeril.
